Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2026
We take your privacy seriously — and we want to be upfront about how we handle your data. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and what rights you have.
1. Who's responsible for your data?
The company responsible for data processing on this website is:
IT Duo — Ibragimov & Krupa GbR
Am Mühlsteingrund 2, 21493 Schwarzenbek, Germany
Phone: +49 176 75940619
E-mail: info@mylinkhub.de
Data Protection Officer: Magomed Ibragimov (same address and e-mail).
2. What data do we collect — and why?
2.1 Visiting the website (server logs)
Every time you open a page, your browser automatically sends technical data to our server. We store this briefly for security and stability purposes:
- The page you visited
- Date and time of the visit
- Amount of data transferred
- Referring website (where you came from)
- Your browser and operating system
- Your IP address (stored in anonymised form where possible)
We do this because we have a legitimate interest in keeping the website running reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We don't sell or share this data.
2.2 Creating an account
When you register, we collect your name, e-mail address, and a password (stored as a secure hash — we never see your actual password). This data is needed to provide the service to you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). You can delete your account at any time directly from your dashboard.
2.3 Profile content
Everything you add to your MyLinkHub profile — links, bio, profile picture, social media handles — is stored so your public profile card works. You control this data entirely and can edit or delete it whenever you like.
2.4 Analytics (profile views and link clicks)
For Premium users, we track how many people visit your profile and which links they click. This data is linked to your account and helps you understand your audience. It's processed on the basis of our contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
3. Hosting & servers
MyLinkHub is hosted on servers located in the European Union. Our hosting provider operates exclusively within the EU and we have a data processing agreement in place that requires them to protect your data and keep it confidential.
4. Cookies
We use cookies — small text files stored on your device. Here's what we use:
- Session cookies — necessary to keep you logged in. Deleted when you close your browser.
- Analytics & marketing cookies — only set after you give your consent via our cookie banner (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing cookies in your browser.
You can configure your browser to block or delete cookies at any time, though some features may stop working if you do.
5. Payment processing — Stripe
If you upgrade to Premium, payments are handled by Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., 1 Grand Canal Street Lower, Dublin, Ireland.
When you pay, we share the data needed to complete the transaction — your name, billing address, card details and order information — with Stripe. This is based on our contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We never store your full card details ourselves.
Stripe is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, which means transfers to the US comply with European data protection standards. Stripe's privacy policy: stripe.com/privacy.
6. Google Sign-In
You can register or log in using your Google account. When you click "Continue with Google", Google shares your name, e-mail address and profile picture with us (with your explicit consent — Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). We use this information only to create your MyLinkHub account.
Google may also receive information that you visited our site. Google is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. More details: Google Privacy Policy.
You can revoke your consent at any time in your Google account settings.
7. Google reCAPTCHA
We use Google reCAPTCHA on our sign-up and login forms to protect against bots and spam. reCAPTCHA analyses your behaviour (IP address, mouse movements, timing) and sends that data to Google for evaluation.
Where reCAPTCHA runs without cookies, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in preventing abuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Where cookies are involved, we rely on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
We have a data processing agreement with Google. Google is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
8. Public profile pages
Your profile card (e.g. mylinkhub.de/yourname) is public and indexed by search engines unless you enable the "No Index" option in your dashboard. The links and content you add to your profile are your responsibility — please don't include others' personal data without their permission.
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Access — you can ask what data we hold about you (Art. 15)
- Correction — you can ask us to fix inaccurate data (Art. 16)
- Deletion — you can delete your account and all data from your dashboard, or contact us (Art. 17)
- Restriction — you can ask us to limit how we process your data (Art. 18)
- Data portability — you can request your data in a machine-readable format (Art. 20)
- Objection — you can object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21)
- Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time (Art. 7(3))
- Complaint — you can lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority (Art. 77)
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@mylinkhub.de.
10. Right to object
If we process your data on the basis of legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), you have the right to object at any time for reasons specific to your situation. If you object, we'll stop processing that data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests.
11. How long we keep your data
- Account data is kept until you delete your account.
- Payment records are kept for 10 years as required by tax law.
- Server logs are deleted after 30 days.
- Data processed on the basis of consent is deleted once consent is withdrawn.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services change or when the law requires it. We'll notify you of significant changes via e-mail or a notice on the site.
13. Supervisory authority
If you're not happy with how we've handled your data, you can lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In Germany, that's the Federal Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (BfDI).
